Medly was stepping into a crowded digital wine aisle, a space known for slow innovation and sameness. They wanted to do something different, to feel as fresh in spirit as they were in design. A polished label alone wouldn't win customers. They needed a site that looked sharp, felt simple, and carried their personality. The biggest hurdle was the BYOB feature: a bundle builder that had to appear effortless on the surface while managing discounts, case sizes, and subscriptions behind the curtain.

We started by mapping the buying journey to uncover what helped customers trust and convert. That insight shaped every design choice, from layout flow to micro-interactions. The result was a shopping experience that felt polished and intuitive while supporting measurable gains in conversion. Behind the visuals, the Elevated team built a flexible system that handled one-time orders, subscriptions, and the BYOB bundle tool. Customers could mix bottles, trigger tiered discounts, and check out without confusion. Dynamic pricing logic, inventory sync, and subscription rules all ran quietly in the background to keep the experience fast and seamless.

In its first year, Medly recorded 820,000+ sessions, 74,000+ orders, and a 5.72% conversion rate—nearly double the industry average. The new experience also drove a strong lift in average order value, showing how the BYOB model encouraged larger, more personalized purchases.
The project wrapped in twelve weeks, spanning five coordinated sub-projects from design through development. Each milestone shipped on time, keeping momentum steady across teams.
The BYOB bundle tool became the centerpiece. Customers could mix bottles, unlock tiered discounts, and switch between one-time or subscription orders. Beneath that simple interface was complex pricing logic and subscription data working in sync to keep the experience smooth and reliable.
